DlalaNje is an organisation that was founded with the community at heart. Its grassroots connection to children and youth in the most destitute areas of Johannesburg’s inner city, places it at the epicentre of where it is most needed – bringing education and knowledge to the youngest members of society who would otherwise not have access to either the facilities or the opportunity to build skills that would see them integrated as productive and salary-earning members of society.
Upliftment and giving back are central to the team at 6TH Sense Water. We have an immense care for children who do not have the means or the support to thrive – let alone survive – in society, and we feel deeply privileged to be able to offer donations of our water to the community centre and its children.
We would like to thank DlalaNje for the opportunity to play even the smallest part in their incredible initiative, as well as for taking the time to explain the history and journey of the Ponte Apartments which, spanning four decades, is truly a remarkable one.
